Description
Members of the KEITH Team lead the design and development process for the master plan at Pensacola Beach for the Santa Rosa Island Authority. The members of the team were engaged in a complex design that included more than a 3 miles of beach front with a core development/tourism area. The team developed a series of plans, exhibits and renderings to guide the community and stakeholders through the visioning process. Access to natural ecosystems, balanced with the presence of high tourism activity, was a key component to the project. The team was highly engaged in development presentations, workshops, and surveys to ensure the community was heard throughout. The project is still ongoing and seeks to balance a mix of public and private development and preservation opportunities.
